Snee's ankle only sprained

The prognosis did not look good early yesterday morning when right guard Chris Snee hobbled out of Giants Stadium on crutches, wearing a protective boot on his left ankle. The news later in the afternoon was not as gloomy.

Yes, Snee's ankle is injured. But it's not as serious as the Giants first feared. Tests revealed that the ankle is not fractured and sustained no ligament damage. But it is sprained and there's little chance he will be able to play Sunday in Philadelphia against the Eagles.
