Pierce puts aside need for revenge

For Giants linebacker Antonio Pierce, this week's game against the Redskins is more about restoration than revenge; restoration of a confidence shaken by a 1-2 start; restoration of an intimidating defense that hasn't been seen since late last year; restoration of expectations the Giants would be a Super Bowl contender.

Revenge was a personal thing last October when Pierce played the Redskins for the first time.
