Michael Strahan will miss as much as a month with a sprain of the Lisfranc joint in his right foot, the Giants announced today. Strahan suffered the injury in the second quarter of Sunday's 14-10 win over the Texans. He will be on crutches for at least a week but the injury does not require surgery, according to head trainer Ronnie Barnes.A CT scan revealed no break or dislocation to the Lisfranc joint; had that occurred, Strahan's season would have been over. This injury leaves the Giants without their two Pro Bowl defensive ends for Sunday night's game with the Bears. (Newsday)
