The big bad Giants defense has done a masterful job of bullying the 90-pound weaklings of the football world. The Falcons, the 49ers, the Dolphins, the Jets ... the list of offensively challenged opponents goes on and on. But if the Giants hope to go anywhere this season, they are going to have to be just as effective against the powerhouse offenses - the kind, like Tony Romo's Cowboys, that dominated them last week; the kind they face Sunday in Detroit.
With mad Mike Martz calling the plays, and Roy Williams leading a standout wide receiver crew to catch his passes, Jon Kitna is averaging 255 yards per game with 12 touchdowns against eight interceptions and a QB rating of 92.9 that places him seventh in the NFL.
