The ice Mann
It looks as if Eli Manning cares, but not enough to quell the rage of the many fans appalled by the way he played in a desultory 41-17 loss to the Vikings and disgusted with the way the Giants quarterback sounded and reacted following a truly dreadful individual performance.
Manning following his four-interception horror show - three were run back for Minnesota touchdowns and another set up a short scoring run - offered up his usual bland analysis, appearing unhappy but far from distraught and certainly not castigating himself with an "it was all my fault" mea culpa. There's a feeling that if he is going to make the paying customers so miserable, the least Manning could do is show he's feeling as pained as they do. Continue

Stop beating up Eli. How about getting him some wide-outs who don't spend the season in the training room. Plex is a great receiver when healthly, but he isn't and that creates problems. Toomer appears to be slower and incapable of creating separation, especially if they don't respect Plex deep. Their two top receiver draft picks, Moss and Smith are either "disappointing" or spend their entire season in the training room. Give Eli someone to throw to. Romo has T.O., Brady has Moss and Stalworth, who do we got? Also, do the Giants lead the league in pulled hamstrings every year? Who is the their strength and conditioning coach, Richard Simmons? Smith, Jacobs and now Ross. These are supposed to be conditioned athletes!! Giants appear to be only conditioned for 5K walk-a-thons. Come on now!! At least Eli is in there every down. Way too many non-contact injuries to key players on this team every year. This gotta stop.
