Upbeat Giants feel playoff ghosts are things of the past

There were some high hopes a year ago as the Giants traveled to Philadelphia for their first-round playoff game, but those expectations rested on severely slumped shoulders. It had been a turbulent year, to say the least, in the Giants' locker room and they were facing an uncertain future.

Nobody felt good about that Giants team. Nobody was really sure if they were capable of winning the game. "Last year it was kind of as if we made the playoffs but we had to really back in there, really push to get in there," said Michael Strahan. As a result, they headed to Philly just "hoping that we can hang on." Continue
