Tom Coughlin ecstatic about new deal

Coaching the Giants has been the "dream of a lifetime" for Tom Coughlin. And he's ecstatic about getting the chance to live the dream for a few more years.

"I was thrilled to become the head coach of the New York Giants in 2004," Coughlin said in a statement released Saturday by the team. "It would be difficult for me to capture the emotions for the opportunity I was given back in 1988 to be an assistant coach with the Giants.
