After either playfully or ominously suggesting he might not show up for Wednesday's mandatory Giants veteran mini-camp, Jeremy Shockey on Saturday told The Post's Steve Serby: "I plan on fulfilling my contractual obligation." If he sticks to those words, Shockey will be in attendance at the three-day camp.
The arrival in large part will be ceremonial, because Shockey is recovering from leg and ankle surgery stemming from a Dec. 16 injury that prematurely ended his season and left him an outsider throughout the entire Super Bowl run. Shockey is bitter that the club did not allow him to watch Super Bowl XLII from the sidelines; the team at the time stated that would be an unsafe vantage point for a player on crutches. Continue
