Needing no arm-twisting from father-in-law Tom Coughlin, Chris Snee signed a six-year, $43.5 million extension ($17 million guaranteed) yesterday that will keep the Giants New York Giants ' right guard under contract through 2014.The signing bonus is $13.5 million.
"I am just happy to have it done before the season and really just have peace of mind and not worry about it and go out and play," said Snee. "I had faith that it would be done."Snee is the third offensive lineman to sign a contract extension since the Giants shocked the Patriots in Super Bowl XLII, joining LG Rich Seubert (through 2013) and LT David Diehl (through 2013).
