On the 15th day of training camp, Giant receiver Plaxico Burress Plaxico Burress finally arrived. On the field, that is. Burress, out with a newly discovered right-ankle injury, surprised everyone by participating in a few preliminary segments of yesterday's evening practice.
Burress had been fitted with special orthotics in his shoes, and on Sunday said he would not practice until he felt 100 percent. But in the 24th session of camp, he did some light work. Burress this summer has sought a new contract and been frustrated with the pace of the talks - but his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said, "There's no correlation between Plax' negotiations and practicing."
