Brandon Jacobs said Tuesday that he got "good news" from the MRI on his left knee, but he still might not play Sunday in Arizona.The Giants' top running back, who injured his knee in the second quarter of this past Sunday's 30-10 win over the Ravens, confirmed that the MRI showed "no major damage." However, in one of several media interviews Tuesday morning, he indicated the Giants might keep him out of the game anyway, just to be safe.
"I could line up and go play on Sunday if our team was in serious need of a running back," Jacobs said on ESPN's "First Take." "But as everyone knows, they're not. We have a stable of horses lined up and ready to go. So I could play if I wanted to and I needed to, but I don't know if they'll let me." Continue
