Giants aching to stop Cardinals

Brandon Jacobs was in pads and went through a limited practice Thursday. But on the other side of the Giants' indoor practice field, Plaxico Burress was on his back stretching a troublesome hamstring that kept him out of practice and has put his status for Sunday in doubt.

Just when one Giants star's health is improving, another's health has suddenly become an issue.Tom Coughlin said Thursday that Burress' hamstring became a problem "just now. Overnight and into today."When asked if the wide receiver will be fine, Coughlin replied, "We will see."Burress did not speak to reporters Thursday but the wide receiver is known for playing on game days despite missing practices with various injuries. At the end of Thursday's practice, Burress was walking without a visible limp. Continue
