Giants may lack Plaxico Burress
It must be something about playing in the desert that does it to Plaxico Burress. Last February, before Super Bowl XXLII in Glendale,Arizona, he slipped in the shower and hurt his knee. Now, a few days before his return trip, he pulls his right hamstring.
"I think that place has got a hex on me a little bit when it comes to game week," Burress said. That "hex" has made Burress questionable for the Giants' game against the Arizona Cardinals Sunday afternoon, and he sounded Friday like a man who wasn't sure it was worth the risk to play. The Giants (9-1) seem like they'll have running back Brandon Jacobs (knee) in the lineup, so the offense will have most of its key players. Continue

Do the Giants really need Burress?
I think it is time they move on with other receivers and trade him for whatever need they may have. Seems he is always causing distractions. Why he is double teamed is beyond me.
