Tom Coughlin couldn't do anything wrong in the Giants' magical Super Bowl run last year.
But against the Eagles Sunday, as the Giants went from defending Super Bowl champions to former Super Bowl champions, he couldn't do anything right.
Every button he pushed should have had a buzzer on it that alerted him to stay away.Coughlin naturally has built up a lot of good will for what the Giants accomplished last year, but that doesn't mean he's untouchable and immune to criticism.
As good as he was last year, that's how badly things backfired on him Sunday in the Giants' dreadful 23-11 loss to the Eagles. It didn't help that Eli Manning, who was nearly flawless in the playoffs last year, reverted to his pre-Super Bowl days by throwing costly interceptions and missing open receivers. Continue
