This past week, Tom Coughlin was asked if he was counting on opponents to stack their defenses near the line of scrimmage in an attempt to stop the Giants' running game and force them to win via the passing game.
"Well, you'd have to expect that to a certain (extent) ... " the coach began.
Then, he tilted his head back and to the right, lifting his chin in a confident, almost cocky, gesture.
"... but it probably would be a good thing if they did that," he concluded.
It would be a good thing?
"It would be," Coughlin calmly replied as the left corner of his mouth curled into a telling half-smirk.
