Aaron Ross made it through practice without any setbacks Wednesday and he believes he's on track to make his season debut when the Giants return from their bye.
Ross has been out since suffering the first of three different tears to his right hamstring on Aug. 9. He tried to return to the field on Aug. 25 and again on Sept. 30, but each time his comeback lasted only part of one practice before he tore his hamstring again.
Still, Ross said, "I wasn't nervous at all" yesterday. "I felt really good to tell you the truth. I've got to get a little bit of the rust and cobwebs off, but a couple of more days of practice and I'll be all right. Continue
