Coach Tom Coughlin needed just a handful of words to assert his confidence in defensive coordinator Bill Sheridan Monday.
Are you sticking with Sheridan for the rest of the season?
“Yes.”
Do you give any thought to making a change there?
“No.”
Are you confident in everything he is doing?
“I am. Disappointed in the results, obviously.”
The most recent result being, of course, the Giants’ 45-38 loss to the Eagles Sunday, in which Coughlin said his team had a “winning performance” on offense but not on defense or special teams. Continue
