Perry Fewell is surely disappointed right now. He talked the other day about how close he was to his dream, and when the Broncos announced they had hired former Giants defensive coordinator John Fox as their new head coach, that dream went up in smoke - at least for this year.
But the reality that should soon get him back on track is he still has a pretty enviable job as Giants defensive coordinator. And now, with all four of his head-coaching opportunities gone, Fewell is certain to return to that role for a second season. (Fewell signed a two-year contract with the team before last season.) I am glad to see him and every one else back. Giants won 10 games most years that gets you in the playoffs. Come back and get it down next year!
